What a Meeting

I just returned from our second last mission meeting before we go to Mississippi. While only half of the group showed up to this "Mandatory" meeting, it turned out to be one of the best! We had planned because of lack of people, and the fact that some had a lot of homework so would like to leave early, to make it a quick meeting. However after a great challenge from Leslie during our devotion to expect great things from God, and to take something that we can 'hold on to' literally from this trip (as the Israelites took stones from the centre of the Jordon River-Joshua 4) we began a great discussion, which continued on into our 'smallgroup' time, which we did as a larger group since only half of us were there. We talked about Jesus as our 'Saviour' as well as Jesus be 'Lord' of all in our lifes. (among other things) God was there with us tonite, and the conversation was amazing, and the words and wisdom, and the 'realness' that I heard coming from the students lips blew me away!--I had to cut our talks off as we had already gone over the time we had set......
